Membership
The Erie Shores Early Childhood PTA is an association for parents, grandparents and care givers of children from birth through kindergarten. The first five years of a child’s life are the foundation for his/her future character and personality. Our goal is to enrich these precious years. We are committed to providing meaningful educational and social experiences for children and parents during this crucial time. We promote a safe and happy lifestyle through greater understanding and awareness of issues facing families. We provide guidance, support, and reassurance to parents and care givers of young children.
Group Goals
The ESECPTA is committed to:
- providing a network for parental support. We plan programs promoting effective parenting and encouraging happy family home life.
- encouraging our members and community to actively participate in the PTA in order to create a larger, more unified membership.
- building generous and caring spirits in our children by involving them in public service projects.
- fostering an environment of friendship for ourselves and our children.
- giving guidance, support, and reassurance to parents of young children.
- staying informed of current problems and legislation affecting our children and the surrounding communities.
- providing a variety of entertaining social and educational experiences for young children.
Becoming a member is easy. You can join at any time during the year. Just complete the membership form and mail it (along with $20 annual dues) to our address listed on the form.
This $20 annual payment enables you to participate in any or all of our activities during the year. Activities are announced at the meetings, by email to members, and in our monthly newsletter, which you will receive via email at the beginning of each month. Members also receive an ESECPTA t-shirt.
